Start with what you have
Upload a requirements doc, gap analysis, or notes, or just type a description. Brieful organizes it into business processes, each with its use cases, and you edit, add, or remove at both levels before moving on. If your document only describes a problem, add a one-line build goal and Brieful designs the system that solves it, proposing the processes and use cases to build rather than just restating the pain points. Map the operational process
For each process, Brieful draws a swimlane flow across actors: submissions, reviews, the back-and-forth return loops, and the statuses a record moves through. Edit it by chat, import your own diagram (BPMN, Mermaid, or a screenshot) as a version, and export to BPMN or Lucid (Mermaid).
Confirm the scope, then choose your path
First you review and confirm the processes and use cases Brieful proposed. Then pick how to detail them: answer a focused interview one use case at a time (best for greenfield ideas and thin documents), or — when you have a solid source document — auto-generate a coverage-complete requirements list for every use case in one pass. Either way you can deepen anything later, and a live coverage meter tells you when the essentials are covered so you never have to guess.
Review screens & flows
Each use case becomes developer-ready screens, with every field, action, and rule, informed by the process so reviewer queues, statuses, and approvals are built in.
Build, present, and refine a prototype
Generate a clickable, process-aware HTML prototype of each use case, built in the background. Click through real screens, then refine by describing changes in plain language; Brieful updates the prototype and proposes matching requirement changes. Present mode highlights what's clickable and where each screen leads, so demos are easy to navigate — and you can discard and rebuild from scratch anytime. Movie mode goes further: a narrated, self-running walkthrough (voice + spotlight + captions) you can play per use case, chain across the whole project, share by link, or export as a standalone HTML that narrates itself offline.
Apply your design system
Set your house style once in the Design Library: colors, font, and layout patterns. Upload a screenshot of an existing screen and Brieful learns the pattern, then makes every prototype look like your product.
Generate test cases
Turn each use case into traceable QA test cases (happy path, negative, edge, and role/permission scenarios) linked to the requirements they verify. Pick step-based or Gherkin per use case, check requirement coverage, and export to CSV for Jira/Xray, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
Export and hand off
Export a polished requirements document to Word or Markdown, with process swimlanes, screen tables, flow diagrams, and test cases included, ready for developers and stakeholders.
